While few are native to San Francisco, many of us call it home. When, in any part of the world, you say you're from San Francisco, eyes light up and smiles begin, and you feel lucky that you can call this place home.

Travel has been one of my primary interests, and included here are links to other things I enjoy.

I spent last year (2011) in Cape Town, trying to bring my partner to South Africa so we could be together. However, the immigration department is impossible to work with and refused to give him a visa. Thailand welcomes everyone, so in December, Miel and I were Bangkok for a few months while we try to figure out where in this crazy world we can settle!
