MAXscene

MAX is pleased to present the MAXscene, our new monthly newsletter. It's produced in Adobe Acrobat PDF format, and you'll need the Acrobat Reader to view it. If you don't have the Acrobat Reader, you can download the reader.
  • Click to view the November 2002 MAXscene. (Note: it will take 3 minutes 30 seconds to load into the Acrobat Reader if you are on a dial-up connection.)

  • To download it and save it to your computer:
    • On a PC, right-click the link above.
    • On a Mac, choose to save the file for later viewing.

The PDF file is 1MB in size, and will take 2 to 5 minutes to download if you are on dialup.

  • Your new Board of Directors designed and produced this first edition of MAXscene. We had fun. However, we are looking for a permanent Editor. If you have desktop publishing skills and would like to volunteer your time and talents for the new MAX newsletter, please drop us an email at We can’t wait to see what you can do!

Tips about viewing and saving PDF files:

  • When you click to view a PDF file, it will probably be presented in your browser window. Many people prefer for it to be viewed in a separate window. You can do this by:
    • Open Adobe Acrobat Reader
    • Click Edit > Preferences > General > Options
    • Uncheck "Display PDF in Browser"

  • If MAXscene does not appear to display correctly in your Acrobat Reader, you may need a more recent version of Acrobat Reader.  DOWNLOAD HERE

  • To save a PDF file, you can directly download it, as described above (right-click the link.)
Or, while viewing a PDF file, you can click
"File > Save a copy" and save it in a folder where you can find it later.

  • If you are using an older Mac computer, you might receive a message that says you need to configure a Helper Application. In most cases, you can choose to save the file, and view it later.
